RESEARCH MISSIONS
Seas and oceans play a key role in global climate processes. They are among the most important ecosystems on earth and influence the lives of millions of people. In order to preserve them as the basis of our lives, we need knowledge from research.
The DAM’s inter- and transdisciplinary research missions focus on current and relevant societal challenges in marine research. Their aim is to enable science-based decisions on the protection and sustainable use of coasts, seas and oceans.
