DIALOGUE EVENT Munitions in the sea – science, pilot salvage and what next?
The German Marine Research Alliance (DAM), the DAM research mission sustainMare and NABU cordially invite you to the dialogue event Munitions in the sea – science, pilot salvage and what next?
With the immediate action programme for the salvage and disposal of old munitions in German marine waters, the Federal Government has raised awareness of the importance of this important topic for the North Sea and Baltic Sea. Initial findings from the pilot recovery of munitions in the Bay of Lübeck as part of the immediate action programme are now also available. We want to discuss with you how to proceed, what technical and political steps are required and what long-term funding from the federal and state governments might look like.
