Sea Future - Marine research transfer activities for the future of coasts, seas and oceans

On October 9, the German Marine Research Alliance (DAM) invites representatives of the five northern German research ministries to discuss their transfer activities and projects at the Bremen State Representation in Berlin. Current projects of the DAM core area Transfer and an in-depth dialog on knowledge transfer between levels of research, politics and society are targeted.
Generating and implementing practical knowledge
Marie-Catherine Riekhof from the Center for Ocean and Society will begin by introducing living labs as an example of knowledge transfer to civil society that brings together research practice and stakeholders.

Transfer examples: Digital Information Portal and Interactive World Ocean
Ute Wilhelmsen presents the current transfer projects of DAM, the digital information portal Seas online and the Interactive World Ocean. Both can be viewed and experienced in the later get-together.
